Dying in Tormya hurts – but now the priests in every temple can soften the blow. How to get blessed Greet the priest in any temple and ask for a blessing ("hi", then "bless"), then say "yes". The blessing costs 2000 gold up to level 30, then 200 gold more for every level, but never more than 20,000 gold. The price is taken from your backpack and, if that is not enough, from your bank. What it does Your next death costs only half the experience and half the skill progress, and you keep all your belongings – nothing drops to your corpse, and your amulet of loss is not used up. A golden icon under your portrait shows that you are blessed. When it fades The blessing is used up by your next death. Deaths while defending a town from a raid cost nothing anyway, so they do not use it. A blessing does not protect players with a red skull – it is lost with them – and hardcore heroes cannot be blessed, because their death is final.
